Your treatment plant is a living ecosystem. Feed it every week.
Bacillus bacteria and five enzymes support the activated sludge, slow down build-up and reduce the fat crust and odours. For aerobic and anaerobic treatment plants, dosed down the toilet.

- Aerobic and anaerobicaerated plants and systems with soil infiltration

Smells, a crust and effluent quality slipping
Detergents, bleach, antibacterial products and medicines weaken the bacteria in your system day after day. Breakdown slows and deposits build up.
- An unpleasant smell from the treatment plant
- A fat crust in the primary tank
- A thick layer of sludge on the bottom
- Desludging is needed more and more often
A fresh dose of bacteria every week
Measure the dose
20 g for a system of about 3 m³ and 3–4 people.
Tip it in the toilet
Flush. You can also pour it straight into the primary tank through the lid.
Repeat every 7 days
The bacteria stay stable even when lots of chemicals are used at home.
Your system runs steadily again
The bacteria top up activated sludge weakened by detergents and reduce the fat crust and odours.

Choose your dose by the size of the system
Standard dose
- System
- approx. 3 m³, 3–4 people
- Dose
- 20 g (½ scoop)
- How often
- every 7 days
Large dose
- System
- 5–6 m³, 5–7 people
- Dose
- 40 g (1 scoop)
- How often
- every 7 days
On first use, after a long break or after strong chemicals: a double dose (40 g) for 2–3 weeks, then the standard dose.
Condensate from a condensing boiler is very acidic and kills bacteria. Don’t route it into your treatment plant.
What this product won’t do
It won’t fix mechanical faults
A cracked tank, damaged pipes or a faulty blower need a specialist.
It won’t clear a blocked drainage field
For infiltration pipes, use BioMe Drain Unblocker.
It won’t work instantly
The bacteria need a few weeks to build a stable population.
What our customers ask
Will it work in my treatment plant?
Yes, in aerobic systems (aerated, SBR) as well as anaerobic systems with a drainage field.
Do I need to open the lid?
No. Tip the dose into the toilet and flush. The granules dissolve in water.
How long does one pack last?
At 20 g a week, 500 g lasts about six months and 1 kg about a year.
I’ve been on antibiotics. What should I do?
Antibiotics end up in the system and weaken the bacteria. During the course of treatment, use a double dose (40 g a week) for 3–4 weeks.
Is it safe for the environment?
Yes. Bacillus bacteria have GRAS status and the product is fully biodegradable.
